Anything else?
Having just returned home from my my Pre of with a staff nurse at Victoria hospital, I can say I am feeling less anxious and extremely well informed of the producer and Pre and post surgery care. After receiving my letter a few weeks ago I was a little annoyed at having to travel to Lewes, which is in excess of 20 miles from my home, when there are at least 6 hospitals closer to me. However as soon as I arrived I was pleasantly surprised by the building, it's small size, I entered and was greeted by a friendly receptionist. I sat in the clean cool waiting area which had a very comfortable feel alongside a tv. I was later called by a staff nurse who introduced herself and following a 30minute Pre op assessment, I was shown around the ward, and advised as to how to access this when I arrive early in the morning for my surgery. As a anxious person in general, the idea of surgery is horrifying however I can honestly say that although feeling nervous I am glad to be attending Lewes hospital. Thank you to the staff for making me feel at ease. I noticed no reviews here and you all clearly do an exceptional job and deserve recognition for this.
