My 18 year old son returned from holiday last night with a throat infection. Called 111 this morning, got an appointment within half an hour and was seen at precisely the time of the appointment. Picked up prescription. The whole thing from call to collection of prescription took less than 50 minutes. That's what I call a health service! Brilliant.
