What I liked
My Wife entered laurel 3 in december 2006 with Lymphoma (non-hodgkins). Unfortunately it was too aggressive and unstable and she lost her fight 19th July. I can't obviously speak for other wards but cannot praise the staff who work on Laurel 3 enough for their dedication to the patients, their compassion, professionalism and being able to keep you informed of progress to the good or the bad (in our case bad unfortunately) but in a caring way. Unfortunately my wife never survived but they tried so hard and refused to give up.
What could be improved
It would be nice to see more staff on the wards, because even though they do a good job, the nurses are stretched.
