I had a knee operation at this hospital and the operating team and the nursing staff were excellent. I did pay to have a private room for myself but this did not include any special food etc and I must say the food and choice was better than any other hospital I have been in. Following the operation I had an appointment to see the consultant and was rather annoyed to be kept waiting for nearly 2 hours as we had an hours journey. When I saw him he did apologise and said he was working on his own and the computer was playing up.

Thank you for your comments and compliments about treatment here at the RJAH Orthopaedic Hospital Foundation Trust. The Trust is committed to listening to patient feedback and improving their experience. The Trust apologises for your wait in outpatients. However recently, the Trust has been looking at improving the provision of Information to patients waiting in the outpatient area and have developed an action plan to improve waiting times based on feedback from a patient survey undertaken to all outpatients who attended our clinics during one week in June 2013.
