"Should I decide to extend my family in the future I would chose Tameside"

About: Tameside General Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

The antenatal ward at Tameside General Hospital were amazing and really looked after me during my long and very difficult labour.

There were a number of doctors and midwives who really supported and helped me - unfortunately I am unable to recall names.

After my baby boy was delivered and I was well enough to be moved, I was taken up to the labour ward (ward 27) where the staff were continually supportive and helpful.

I would like to take this opportunity to say the staff on both wards at Tameside were brilliant and should I decide to extend my family in the future I would chose Tameside General Hospital to deliver.

Congratulations on the birth of your son and taking the time to provide us with feedback. We will ensure that these are passed onto the teams.

Kind regards

‘’Would you like to help the hospital to improve its services further? We are currently looking for patients and carers to become involved in a development called “Patient Stories”. We want to know more about our services from the point of view of those who received them – what was good, bad, what could be improved, what should be changed.
