I was having treatment at the Churchill hospital in March of last year. Unfortunately, I had complications following surgery and spent time in ICU at the Churchill and JR, I was then moved to CCCU and CCU. I can't praise your staff highly enough, the treatment I received on these wards was second to none. I owe my life to the skill and dedication of the doctors and the fantastic nursing teams who cared for me. You should be rightly proud to have people of such high calibre working with you. When I was in CCCU, I was having frequent problems losing bowel control, no matter how many times I had to have my bed changed etc, it was all done swiftly, with compassion and reassurance that it was a good sign everything was working! Just one instance of how the nurses went "the extra mile". On behalf of my family and myself, I would like you to ensure every person and ward involved in my care are suitably praised and thanked. It was clear to me that you have the best of the best.
