When I have been unfortunate enough to be admitted to hospital in the past I was always offered Louth or Lincoln hospitals. Louth is lovely, but very small without a full service to help if things go wrong. I thought Lincoln was awful - no-one seemed to care plus it was a 40 mile round trip.
Under patient choice I was offered the chance to go to the Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby. The wait was very low, the care offered fantastic, the food was better than I've had before and everyone couldn't do enough for me.
Choice is great - and I would choose this hospital if I ever need an operation again.
