"Excellent level of service."

About: Queen Elizabeth I I Hospital (Welwyn Garden City)

Anything else?

I came to the qe2 last week to have an ultrasound scan... I was seen within 5 minutes of arriving at the hospital ( wish I was very happy about after having a very full and uncomfortable full bladder)! I found the lady who done the scan very nice and friendly, she helped to put me at ease and explained the whole procedure ,which helped immensely. She explained the results of the scan thoroughly and was pleased to answer any of my questions, without any feelings of being rushed along. I was very impressed with the hospital and staff,it seemed to be ran very efficiently by staff who understand that a smiling face and friendly manner, can really make the difference, and make a worrying time much easier ,and better experience. I would definitely recommend the hospital on my experience.

Response from Peter Gibson, Associate director, public affairs, East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust

We're sorry that it has taken so long for us to reply - for reasons that are unclear, it doesn't seem that we were made aware that your comments had been posted. That said, we're still delighted to read your feedback about the QEII's radiology service and despite the time that has elapsed, we also know that the staff will be pleased to read your kind words.
