My toddler was brought into Disney Ward with Diabetes type 1 and ketoacidosis. All the Disney ward staff were fantastic at getting my son stable and reassuring me. We were in high dependency for 3 days and I always felt there was someone there for us. When my son was stabilized it was very reassuring that I was given the time with medical staff watching me to get used to what I had to do. The diabetic team that I have met so far have been great and have really helped me to learn and feel comfortable with my son's treatment regime. All I can say is that my family and I thank you all so much for the care you have given my son, thanks to all of you he is returning to that beautifully cheeky boy I used to know!
