Anything else?
I cant thank labour ward, fmu and the maternity ward enough. When I had my little boy they were very on the ball as he was very poorly and had him delivered by emergency c section very quickly. the midwife that was with me from the start and stayed with me right till I went up to the ward was amazing even when I was nearly breaking her hand when I had my spinal and having the cannula in my hand she was so supportive all the way through just wish I could remember her name so she could get the recognition she deserves. The only thing I didn't like about the new layout was that I felt very lonely as you weren't allowed out your room apart from getting food. going to see my son in scbu or getting milk for him when he arrived on the ward but then you were given about 3 bottles at a time so it very secluded. Which as a first time mum and not having my baby for the first 2 nights wasn't nice coz you had no one to talk to. I would also like to thank the midwife on maternity ward with the red things on her shoulders she was fantastic when I was being a pain wanting to go home and when I was readmitted a week later as she calmed me down sorted me out a telly card and shower stuff so I could clean myself up which I was grateful of
