"This discharge procedure is brutal"

About: Rossall Hospital Rehabilitation Unit / Child and adolescent mental health

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter aged 16 received a very blunt letter yesterday saying she doesn’t meet criteria after 18 month on the  pathway for adhd and she is discharged. That’s it two phone numbers for councelling ( she doesn’t need councelling and if she does then I feel camhs should be responsible for that too ) no explanation about why she doesn’t just MDT team said no .very disappointing response . No other diagnosis been looked at which we were told would be possible at last appointment.

Rang CAMHS today to complain about this but was told no one will speak to me as she isn’t under their service by a very rude receptionist. Myself and my daughter are angry confused and feel tossed aside from a service that should help children and young people and their families. It will take me weeks to write a letter to them as I have my own disabilities and needs. But this discharge procedure is brutal and should be worded better or At least with real reasons given . I can’t get these without writing another letter to another service to request my daughters file to see what was actually said at this meeting.

This is not good enough
