Anything else?
I was in and out of Ash Ward yesterday in a few hours, while my operation for a carpal tunnel redo, was relatively straightforward, I could not have had a a more relaxed visit. The consultant, who had treated me in February for my other wrist, was reassuring and explained what he was about to do, as did the anethetist. They were both good as their word and it was good to be in such capable hands. The staff of Ash Ward were kind, friendly and very competent. I would particularly commend one particular member of staff. I thought she was singularly caring as she walked with me along to the theatre. Having woken up, on my return to the ward, I was given an enjoyable lunch. My short stay in Ash Ward was a pleasant experience, and I am grateful to all the staff, both nursing and domestic for making my stay so pleasant. Ta a time when the NHS seems to receive so much flak, it is good to be able to be so positive. Thank you once more for all the care i received from all the staff of Scarborough Hospital. With best wishes, Clive Artley
