"The free lunch is a lovely bonus too"

About: Lewis Manning Hospice Care

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I have been coming to Lewis-Manning for years now. I started coming after my wife died.

The volunteer used to pick me up in a Jaguar, it was so lovely. A touch of a button and it all moved. I used to like the bath at the old site. I'd never seen anything like it. It lifted you in, it was wonderful. Such a beautiful site overlooking the sea.

It is a shame it moved. It is a lot smaller here.

All of the staff are so lovely, everyone is the same, they all look after me. Carole helped me with my catheter bag earlier like it was no problem at all.

The free lunch is a lovely bonus too.

Thank you for sharing your experience with Lewis-manning hospice. We are so pleased that you enjoy coming.

I can imagine a jaguar was a lovely way to travel in!

I am glad you find the staff lovely, and will make sure to pass your thanks on to Carole.

I am not sure what the model of the bath was that you reference from the old site, but I will look into this, and see if this is something we can offer again in the future as our services expand.

Thank you again for sharing your story.
