Dear severitygb74

Thank you for getting in touch regarding the wait for a hearing aid repair appointment. My name is Clare and I manage the Audiology Service here at RCHT. We completely understand that the deaf world can be very hard to negotiate particularly when your hearing aids are not working, so the wait for an appointment is far from ideal.

Whilst we do have waiting times of around 2 weeks at present, we allocate slots on clinical need and I'm happy to discuss with you to see if there is another way we can help sooner.

Please can I ask you to either call the department on 01872253747 or by email rcht.audiology@nhs.net requesting me by name so that we can gather a few more details to be able to help.

Kind regards

Clare
