About: Stepping Hill Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

When I arrived I could tell that it was a busy night for the staff. However I was seen by the triage nurse and taken through to have my bloods and BP SATS etc within an hour of arrival.

Donna our nurse looked after me on a very busy night at A&E. She made sure that I had a drink and the staff made us tea and coffee and offered us sandwiches as we had a 5 hour wait because of the resus arrivals etc that had come in.

Donna kept us well informed and in good spirits all night until the Drs had time to see me.
