This week I had an appointment at Coventry hospital with a cardiologist. That same morning I woke up with chest pain (I was told to expect some chest pain after my bypass surgery in 07) but this went on for a while.
I eventually made my way down to coventry hospital, an hours bus ride. I was still getting some chest pain, they eventually took me in and gave me an ecg, the shortest ecg ever. I thought that they where supposed to wait a while do a second ecg, and since I had a lot of pain that morning do a blood test. Has procedure changed?
Normally Coventry is a very good hospital and a brilliant cardiac team, there was no specialist to be seen and I was allowed to go out of the hospital still with chest pain.
Is it just me or have they done wrong or has procedures changed?
