(as a service user),

Go team NHS Fife. I recently had to be taken by ambulance to VHK and spent an extended period of time in the Emergency Department.

I want to praise ALL the staff from support - domestic and porters, clinical - nurses and doctors, and wider support including radiography and managers. 

We all know the system is creaking, but I can only commend the care I received and saw others receive. It was person-centered and compassionate, from the Dr who helped a patient with a personal need to the nurses who made sure the neediest had a bed not a trolley for their long wait.

Despite all this I saw students across disciplines supported and given learning opportunities.

What a team, and I want them to know I appreciated all they did under very trying circumstances. Keep going, you make a difference.
