The care I received during my 3 days stay at Cannock Hospital was first class. The operation facilities, the surgeon and operating team and the 4 bed ward afterwards were all really excellent. Even during busy times, the nursing staff were attentive and efficient.
Having been asked my date of birth at what seemed like every few minutes, I am now able to remember it. Sleeping at night is never easy when such a vast array of care equipment is giving a range of monitoring signals every few minutes, but I guess that is hospital normality.
All in all, a wonderful facility - and only a 10 minute walk from home!
Long live the NHS.
