I was diagnosed with types 2 Diabetes and then diagnosed with Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease ( NAFLD).
I was shocked at first but I suspected the Diabetes as I was less active and eating all the wrong foods and sugary drinks.
I had an infection down below and red spots appear on my fingers.
I gave a blood test and my iron levels were elevated. I had little to no energy and tired all the time. I was thirsty a lot and always urinating. I was drinking energy drinks to try and get energy but they were just filling me with sugar and it caused the infection down below.
I have been see at both Inverurie Medical Centre and the Peter Bunt Clinic in Aberdeen.
I have received great advice and services from both .
I have changed my lifestyle and I have had good results from this and I plan to keep going and try and get my Diabetes into remission and also get my Liver back to normal or as close to it as it can be .
