"My short hip replacement"

I had a fall eight weeks ago and it appears that I broke my right hip. I was taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary where I had a short hip replacement. After three weeks at the DRI I was transfered to the Montigue Hospital for rehabilitation.Following a two week period of rehabilitation, I came home on a home visit to see how I could manage around the house and up and down the stairs. I was able to manage quite well so my care was handed over to the Bassetlaw Urgent Care and Therapy Team. Who where able to order any equipment that I required ie having hand rails fitted by the front door, walking sticks and a four wheel walker. I have to say that my care during all this time was second to none. Equipment arrived quickly and everything was explained to me, in terms that were easy to understand. Thank you to everyone who looked after me. Bethany was the person in the Urgent Care and Therapy Team who was dealing with my case.
