all staff gave 100%. I was on ward 3, I asked on my first day for another pillow as the pathetic one I was given was so flat I would have thrown it out. The staff tried but I had to wait until the girl in the next bed was discharged to get one of hers. Only one shower on the ward worked despite the staff reporting a loose tile on the other one a week prior but it had not been fixed. I was forth in the one showe queue at 6am. I was suffering from Crohns Disease and severe weight loss, the food provided was diabolical, I could not gain an ounce. I was lactose intolerant and was told the kitchen could not provide me with suitable milk for my cereal, my husband had to bring it in & I shared it with another patient. I was so hungry my Mam took me to the cafe & I spent most of my money on sandwiches. My husband also brought me food parcels. Their was excrement and blood on the toilet fittings. The trainee consultant didn't listen to me & the letter I was copied into was wholly incorrect. I was left to suffer for five weekws because of their inaccurate reporting.
