About: Golden Jubilee National Hospital / Orthopaedics

(as a service user),

In January I travelled from Edinburgh to Golden Jubilee for pre- operative tests for a Total Knee replacement and was told the tests were valid for 16 weeks . In May I was asked to go back for the same tests . On phoning I was informed that the same tests are now valid for 6 months . Why ask patients for tests when it is unlikely they will be admitted?

It is now October and I still haven’t received a date for my operation .

It is so depressing to be in constant pain and unable to sleep
