"My mother was diagnosed with cancer"

About: Care at Home / Care at Home Ayr South

(as a relative),

My mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer in March 2022. She wanted to die at home.

The only reason she could was the service provided by the home care staff by South Ayrshire Council.

The care my mother received was of the highest standard; the staff arrived at 7 o'clock every morning to give her a wash and to make her a breakfast. They were a godsend as our family is small, so it was only my brother and me. The staff were always kind, friendly and reliable. My mum died at home peacefully and I will be always grateful to the care at home staff of SAC. Thank you.
