"Staff do an amazing job"

About: Douglas Street Community Health Clinic NHS 24 / NHS 24 (111 service)

(as a service user),

Son triaged by 111 and got a call OOH doc who made an appt to be seen.

Seen, given meds and reassurance and back home within an hour.

Staff were friendly and from 111 to OOH were quick and efficient and listened to me and my concerns. A very busy service, staff do an amazing job.

Hi Buttercup7654

Thanks so much for sharing such fantastic feedback for the staff at NHS 24 and our colleagues within NHS Lanarkshire Out of Hours Service. I hope you are doing much better.

The title of your story is indeed correct in that staff do an amazing job. Your story is a shining example of seamless care which was delivered in a person-centred manner, quickly and effectively. Most importantly, clearly you were left reassured, which is great to see.

Here at NHS 24, we really appreciate hearing what happens following a call to us. I see you have mention that staff listened to you and were quick and efficient. I would love to share your feedback with the staff here at NHS 24 who managed your call. They would be delighted to see this. If you care to contact me with some additional detail, then I would do this. You can call me on 07814 299944 or by email at Patient.Experience@nhs24.scot.nhs.uk

Thanks again and best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.

Kind regards

Shona
