"You really need to listen"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Friendly and welcoming staff. Despite isolating due to Covid, I was not forgotten about. Even if it was just a friendly wave from a member of staff as they waked past my room.

I feel that doctors need to stop amending times for my medication. Having had rheumatoid arthritis for 25 years, I am very regimented in taking my meds to coincide with activities such as toileting and personal hygiene. I also wake up in pain, prescribing my meds four hours after I wake is ridiculous. You really need to listen to or indeed speak with your patient.
