Anything else?
I had the displeasure of spending a Sunday evening in the A&E Department of this chronically under staffed Hospital. The waiting area was disgusting, with dirty seats and floors, this was not surface grime but long term filth from lack of cleaning. I went into the Hospital with my wife, who was suffering from severe chest pains, we were made to stand in a Triage que for 35 minutes before anyone would see her, apparently the receptionist is a Doctor and was able to tell that my wife was not having a Heart attack! The whole experience was actually very distressing and having been made to wait 4 houts without even seeing a Doctor, we gave up and went home. If you feel very ill and need to go to Hospital, don't turn up at A&E at Medway, phone for an Ambulance, this way you will receive prompt medical treatment and if you need to be in Hospital, they will take you there and once there, you go straight into the treatment area. If anyone from the Hospital is reading this, you need to visit your A&E dept.
