"Great dental service from NHS 24"

About: NHS 24 / Scottish Emergency Dental Service

(as a service user),

I was knocked off my bike late at night in aberdeen and my front tooth was cracked in half. I called NHS 24 and they were so helpful from start to finish. I called at around midnight. I spoke to several people including a dental nurse over the course of an hour and ended up getting an appointment the next day at a dentist. I attended the dentist and he fixed my tooth with a filling. it's not perfect but they weren't perfect teeth anyway. It cost less than £30. Absolutely amazing what the NHS can do. My face is still sore as anything but at least there isn't a big gap in the teeth.

The first thing I thought when I read your story was 'ouch'. I hope you are ok after your bike mishap! I'm so sorry to learn of this and hope your sore face improves soon.
