(as a service user),

My husband had a heart attack whilst at home one evening.  He was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital by ambulance within the hour.  Following assessment he was transferred to his own room on the cardiology ward the next morning where he remained for several days awaiting transfer to Edinburgh for further treatment.  

The care he received from ALL the staff on the cardiology ward prior to being transferred to Edinburgh for angioplasty was outstanding and we will be forever grateful for how well they looked after him.  His care for his short stay in Edinburgh was also very good.  A big thanks to NHS Forth Valley and NHS Lothian.

I'm sorry your husband has been unwell with a heart attack and I hope he's on the mend. I was pleased to hear he'd been well looked after, and I know the staff on the Cardiology ward in Forth Valley and elsewhere will be delighted see these kind words about his experience.

It's good to know we delivered the kind of care we hope to be able to deliver for everyone, everyday.
