"High standard services all round"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Accident & emergency Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Xrays & Scans General practices in Forth Valley

(as the patient),

Feeling light headed and nauseous. 

I attended Dollar Health Centre. Easy to book an appointment. Prompt, well explained. 

11 months later I repeated the procedure as I felt more unwell. Same high quality service from Dollar. Referred to Forth Valley for ECG. Same high standards, polite, caring.

I deteriorated further and came to Forth Valley A and E. X rays, ECG etc with same high standards. The only improvement I would suggest is better signage around the new hospital.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback on your experiences while in FVRH. I am pleased you have received a high quality of care, and easy access to the services.

Signage has been flagged recently to be inadequate by other service users, and we are currently discussing how best to improve this including directions for Radiology in particular.

Your comments illustrate really well the journey a patient might undertake as part of their care. Lot's of different people to meet and places to get to! I'm really pleased to read that we seem to have got most of the pieces right but you're not alone in finding the hospital difficult to navigate around. I'm really pleased to hear we're already working to improve that.

I sincerely hope you are recovering from your recent hospital admission. I would like to thank you for your very positive feedback relating to your recent visit to Forth Valley. I absolutely agree that we need to update our signage especially relating to the Urgent Care Centre and this is something we are working on.
