"Care and professionalism"

I had an (unavoidably) uncomfortable and (unavoidably) intrusive procedure, and received exemplary care throughout. All members of staff explained the plan, and then each action as it was taken. My welfare was checked at every junction, and there were words of encouragement. Afterwards, nurses made absolutely sure I was okay. They clearly know all the problems that can follow the procedure and we're ready with advice, medication, food and drink to ease nausea and faintness.
