Anything else?
I was recently in Whipps for 11 days following an accident.
With the exception of the porters for the X-ray dept, I could not fault the care I received. Owing to my condition, I was initially completely helpless but was treated with the utmost respect. As you might expect from the NHS, they were terribly understaffed, but otherwise nothing was too much trouble. Even the food was really nice. I've been back to Whipps several times since as an outpatient, and have always received good care and attention.
In the emergency ambulance, when I heard we were headed for Whipps X, I said "thank God" and I meant it.
"Excellent Care"
