Firstly, Thank-you. My involvement with the services from inclusion began in March of this year and could not have happened at a better time for me. I was in desperate need of help on so many levels. I felt extremely overwhelmed. The class leader and my key worker have made my gradual climb out of hell bearable and educational. The classes each week are relaxed, welcoming and relatively informal, and at my lowest I felt safe there. In fact, my only complaint would be that the classes are far to short. It's clear to me that 1 hour is no way enough time to get around the group and allow each service user to fully contribute. The group leader, at times seemed a little rushed. At times trying to squeeze in possibly too much information in too short time. That can be a little unsettling, certainly for me.
Anyway, I would whole heartedly recommend the Inclusion services to Anyone in need of guidance, advice and support with the battle of addiction of any kind. I've gained confidence and also made a few friends too, which is vital in my fight. Inclusion is the opposite of addiction...It's connection.
Recover is all about connection with others fighting the same battle as me. Inclusion is that bridge to connection.
"Inclusion is the opposite of addiction...It's connection."
