I have attended the outpatient dept at the New Victoria Hospital in Glasgow on several occasions. The staff in the nurse led clinic were welcoming and provided a very professional service. The process was streamlined and I didn't have to wait long at all which was a bonus.
Having been in nursing for over 40 years, I appreciate the challenges that staff in the NHS face and how easy it is to forget there is a patient at the end of this process. I was really impressed with how the staff communicated with clear explanations given for what they would be doing. Sadly not everyone has a positive experience in hospital settings so it's important to feedback good impressions too.
I would like to mention Hayley and Debra who took time to ensure that I had good care but I know they are part of a bigger team all involved in ensuring patients get the service they require. Please pass on my thanks.
