What I liked
There were plenty of staff.
What could be improved
Unfortunately they were chatting, in the main, and even though I'd already told a Dr that the person I support was dehydrated, and he had dry spittle around his mouth, I had to ask for water, after 20 mins. As the patient has a learning disability I had brought relevent care strategies but all the nurse wanted to know was whether or not he was violent. I found everyone in the Medical Assesment Unit to be incredibly casual, with no attention to special needs.
The Maternity Unit, however, is excellent.
