Anything else?
On Saturday, April 13, 2013, my 71 year old husband was taken by ambulance to A& E at Great Western with persistent coughing and difficulty in breathing. He was seen promptly and given extensive tests. Although it was thought likely that he had a lung infection, he was admitted to the AMU for assessment in case there was a clot. He was given further tests the following day, Sunday, and a scan. The diagnosis was pneumonia and he was released on Sunday afternoon with medication. Throughout his time in the hospital he was provided with excellent care and treated with kindness and dignity by all the medical and nursing staff.
