"I couldn't have asked for better care"

About: The Ulster Hospital / Emergency Department The Ulster Hospital / Neely Ward

(as a service user),

I was admitted from A & E at the Ulster hospital and taken to the Neely ward to receive further treatment. The staff couldn't be more reassuring caring and friendly. Too many to name as they where all so caring. They are a credit to the NHS and everything it stands for. Health care assistant Janine, nursing staff Lucy, Asha, Precious, Marie Ann in particular helped me taking the extra 5 mins to reassure me and ensure that I had the best care possible.

The deputy sisters were always on hand and were all very approachable. Hard working ward from the domestic staff, students to the consultants. Emer and Sammy Jo the doctors on gynae ward were both friendly and professional.

I couldn't have asked for better care for my time there, although no-one wants to be in hospital.  It is reassuring that wards like this exist to make times of need as comfortable and reassuring as possible.

Hi sambaww89

Thank you for taking the time to passing on your thanks for the care you received while attending the Ulster hospital Emergency department. It can be a very anxious time for our patients but delighted to hear you were reassured and received excellent care.

I will share your comments with the staff in ED who will be very appreciative of them.

Hope you are improving daily.

Kind Regards

Jenny

Thank you sambaww89 for your lovely comments regarding all the staff on Neely Ward and especially highlighting the staff named. Neely Ward is indeed a very caring, compassionate ward and it is heartening to hear that we have made a positive difference to your experience of being admitted to hospital and that you were reassured at a time of concern for you. I shall ensure that you kind comments and feedback are relayed to the staff and in particular those you have mentioned.

I wish you well in your recovery.

best wishes,

Pauline
