(as the patient),

Following an accident in my home I attended A&E for assistance with an injury to my hand. From start to finish the service was fantastic. Despite the immense pressure facing each member of staff in a very busy A&E, the team dealt with everyone in a professional manner, and with care and consideration. The Nurse Practitioner who dealt with my injury was extremely thorough and put me at ease during a scalpel procedure to my hand.

The NHS has had everything thrown at it over the past few years and still, the nurses, doctors and other members of staff, work tirelessly to provide a lifesaving service to us all. Goodness knows how they do this, considering the financial cuts to the service. Thank you to all those working in the NHS. We owe you a massive debt of gratitude.
