I was admitted to the sau on Sunday morning and received excellent treatment from the minute I arrived. The sister and nursing staff were extremely busy but made me feel that I was being cared for every minute of my stay. I was dehydrated on arrival, confused and generally very poorly. The nurses and doctors quickly made sure I received the treatment I needed and took the time to make sure my husband and I understood exactly what was happening. One health care assistant even made sure the doctor came to reassure me when I was worried by something I heard in another dept - thank you Jodie!
In summary, the staff in the sau are superb and are to be commended for the professional, caring way they carry out a difficult job.
