Anything else?
I attended an appointment with the dermatology department. I was hoping to get some answers after having recent worrying allergic reactions.
I was kept waiting for just over 40 minutes past my appointment time. I was told this was due to patients being double booked.
The Doctor I saw appeared friendly, but completely clueless as to why I was there.
I have been waiting for allergy tests since October last year. The Doctor claimed they had a problem contacting me and so I was booked in for another consultation . I had given them my new telephone number on several occasions, so why this was I don't know. Also as I was eager to get the appointment I would have also been fine if they had booked me in for an allergy test and had sent me a letter. Bizarrely they had my correct number when I received two text message reminders for this appointment. The dermatologist I saw did then refer me, but no telling how long I will have to wait now.
The whole thing seemed like a waste of time. I still am not sure what the condition was (whether it was anaphylaxis, severe eczema or a bit of both)...
If you think you are prone to have anaphylactic shock please avoid the royal.
