"A&E visit"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Accident and emergency

Having suffered an injury after tripping up on uneven ground I found myself having to attend A&E after recognising I would be unable to deal with my injury myself. The lady at reception was polite and professional. I was triaged promptly by by a nurse/HCA who made me feel confident in their ability to deal with my injury. After a short wait my injury was steristripped and glued and I was back on my way. I felt reassured at all times even though there was pressure on the service. The department was calm and appeared well run. Thank you to those I encountered and my injuries are healing well.
