"Doing a great job despite all the current pressures"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Accident & Emergency Royal Alexandra Hospital / General Medicine (wards 8, 10, 11, 14, 18 & 27)

(as the patient),

I was taken to A&E at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in early March.  As I had anticipated, the department was snowed under and things took quite a long time.  However the standard of care that I received was uncompromised and I would like to thank the staff that afternoon and evening for their entirely professional, and incredibly cheerful, demeanors.

I was later admitted, to Ward 2/AMU.  Always busy, they were under exceptional pressures that night and the following day that I was in there.  Again, there was utter professionalism and I would like to pass on my sincere thanks and respect to all the staff there.

Thank you SAJ

Your words go a long way in recognising the efforts of our teams.

I look forward to sharing with the staff in the Emergency Department and Acute Medical Unit. I'm pretty sure the "incredibly cheerful" comment will be particularly well received by them. Proud to accept your comments and respond on their behalf thank you.

Best wishes

Gerry
