Took my husband in to a&e on the 5th of march after being in pain for 48hours . From the moment we walked in the staff was very profesional in taking care of my husband. They did a lot of test and in 4 hours he was rushed in to surgery. He had perforated gangrenous appendicitis. You saved my husbands life and i cant thank you enough for that! The after care was great . He felt very welcomed in ward 2 where the nurses were informing him of his health and his improvement at all times. To and my husband this means a lot as he was in pain for 48 hours before going in to a&e. In this 48 hours we have been to hell and back. We rang NHS direct and they told me to take him to our GP witch i did the next morning. The GP told me is a stomach bug and he gave us sick tablets and paracetamol. During that night the pain was the same and i've tryed to get an abulance but they told me i dont need one if my husband is councious . When we got in to a&e the doctors told me 6 more hours at home and that would have been fatal for him. So thank you very much to everybody that took care of my husband. God bless you!
"Great care"
