"Nottingham county south crisis team"

About: Adult Mental Health Crisis Services / Crisis Team County South

(as a service user),

In the past I have had some really good support from the crisis team but, in the past month or so, it seems impossible to speak to anyone. When phoning, I constantly get the answerphone. If I do leave a message, my call isn’t returned. This is despite phoning a few times a night. I feel that I have no where to go for support during crisis times in the weekends and evenings. The other evening ended in some very unsafe behaviours and 999 which, I believe, may have been minimised by talking to a mental health professional. I realise every service is stretched but this team seems completely inaccessible.

Dear anon3745

I am very sorry to hear that this has been your recent experience of the County South crisis team, this is not the expected standard of care and I would like to hear more details regarding this so I can review with the team. Please could you contact me via email sarah.taylor4@nottshc.nhs.uk or by telephone on 0115 9560800.
