"Friendly and professional service"

About: Maternity care (Wards 47, 48 & 50) / Maternity Assesment/Triage

(as a service user),

Today I had an iron transfusion in the maternity assessment unit and cannot speak more highly of all the staff! Lauren the health care support worker at reception was smiley, friendly and very professional! The midwife Fiona was caring and compassionate. Fiona clearly explained the full process and continually ensured I was comfortable and systemically well! These girls are a credit to our hardworking nhs and deserve the upmost praise!

Dear Karen O,

Many thanks for taking the time to post such lovely feedback. I am delighted that your experience with us at the Maternity Unit in Queen Elizabeth University Hospital was positive and that the team were friendly, caring and compassionate. I will ensure that I feedback your comments to both Lauren and Fiona who will be delighted to receive this.

Kind Regards

Gaynor Bird, Acting Lead Midwife
