"Unhappy with comments in letter"

After developing stiffness in my sisters upper arm after her stroke & a splint that wasn’t quite right I rang and a re-visit and a better splint was discussed. From that point of view, I have been impressed with the service offered.

However this morning we have received a letter from the community stroke team which has upset us all. The letter says that the changes within the upper limb appeared to be due to non-compliance with daily exercises & due to other medical problems. That made us as a family feel very angry. We have provided the best possible care under the circumstances & time is not always on our side. My parents are both 75 & I provide full time support with the exercises we have been  asked to do, which are quite demanding. We try & sometimes my sister does not feel up to the challenge when we have time. I strongly disagree with the contents of the letter & feel you should be aware of that.
