Anything else?
On Sunday 24th March my wife was advised to visit minor injuries after we telephoned 111. The receptionist was somewhat harsh in her tone, but an angel compered to the doctor who was the person, I can't say Doctor, on duty, who in 10 minutes had my wife in tears. It wasn't what he said, but the way he said it. When he addressed me he said "I am telling you" in a loud and aggressive manner - there are plenty of signs warning patients of their aggressive and violent behavior, but what about the staff towards the patient.
The saving grace was a male nurse who was exemplary, but absolutely powerless to address the attitude and manner of the doctor and the Nurse Practitioner in the out of hours GP clinic who restored our faith in the NHS. I wish I knew their names as they deserve real credit from their employers.
"Minor Injuries - dreadful"
