My wife is a long term sufferer of osteomyelitis and had a nasty reoccurrence last year. Orthopaedics have been brilliant in dealing with the situation, even with Covid conditions. The communication and updates have been brilliant.
Staff have been very helpful and have communicated clearly throughout the ordeal. Taking the time to explain any areas that have been confusing or misunderstood.
Unfortunately the terms of this review means I may not mention individuals by name, but there are definitely stars within the department that make a visit more bearable.
The orthopaedics team is a credit to the NHS Derriford Trust team.
Thank you Orthopeadics for your outstanding care for your patients. A particular mention needs to be made of the fracture clinic that supplied a much needed service and who’s staff are absolutely brilliant. 5 stars go to the Fracture Clinic.
