About: New Cross Hospital / Gynaecology

I was admitted to the day case ward for an hystorectomy, pelvic floor repair and bladder lift operation in December 2021. Day case staff were amazing!! Woke up in my own private room with bathroom on ward D7. Staff could not do enough for me. Everyone from doctors, nurses, my amazing surgeon Dr. Douglous, pharmasists, care staff, theatre staff were all brilliant. I couldn't have been looked after any better. New Cross hospital is a very very good hospital. Everything was explained to me in detail. I felt very much at ease the 2 days i was admitted. Was very impressed with the short time in which i was discharged too, medication, paperwork, everything explained to me within half an hour of being told i could go home.  I would not hesitate at all in receiving any kind of treatment at this hospital.
