"Staff are very helpful"

About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Male Medical

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

The hospital is not usually where most people like to spend their days without family when feeling down. However, I did not feel like this in Daisy Hill. I was very agitated when I first came in and could not get settled at all as it was an environment I was not used to. Within a few days the nursing staff and health care assistances ensured I felt safe and comfortable while receiving the treatment I required. My family were very worried about me as they knew I was agitated and would not settle without them close by so staff allowed family to come visit me in order to settle my nerves. Staff also kept me and my family updated throughout the whole time I was in hospital which myself and my family were very appreciate of.

Thank you for your kind words about your time in Male Medical.

I will be sure to feed them back to the staff.
