Anything else?
I was unfortunately taken ill on Saturday night, and after enduring what was, to put it mildly, excruciating unbearable pain in my abdomen for over four hours. I made the decision at approximately 2-30am to go to hospital, so my wife phoned for an ambulance, as being doubled up with the pain I was incapable of driving myself.
Firstly the paramedic who attended initially was excellent and did all he could to make me comfortable, and endeavoured to hasten the attendance of an ambulance when he saw the grave distress that I was in.
Secondly the two ambulance girls who attended were very kind and marvellously efficient, and controlled the extreme pain that was afflicting me, and got me to Heartlands Hospital.
Thirdly Doctor and the two young ladies in the A&E were excellent, in fact the doctor's manner in explaining the problem, his patience and efficiency are to be commended, after testing my blood and examining me, based on his findings which apparently required further examination the doctor made the decision to send me up to the surgical team for further tests and scans, and I was given a bed on ward eleven.
Eventually I was seen by a another doctor and the Registrar Doctor, (wearing a long green overalls, I was also attended to by two nurses and a nurse in a light blue uniform maybe a staff nurse? Who wired me up to the ECG machine, and the man in the ultra sound dept, and I can only say that they were all very professional and kindness itself.
Please ensure you pass on our thanks to all the people concerned from my self and my wife for the excellent attention we received.
"Very Pleased with the attention given"
